We break down neurotypical barriers in professional spaces to empower neurodivergent potential

It’s estimated that 25% of the world’s population is neurodivergent. This can include, but isn’t limited to, people who are autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, dyspraxic, and more.

For decades, we’ve seen neurodivergent people silently struggling in professional environments - at events, at work, and in finding community. This is largely because businesses and professionalism at large are designed for a neurotypical mind. It’s why autistic people are the most likely to be under/unemployed of any identity group. It’s why ADHD people are three times more likely to want to quit their job than the general population.

While the state of professional environments for neurodivergent people is troubling, we see hope. Emerging research is showing that neurodivergent people are well-suited for what executives consistently rank as their #1 most desired skill amongst employees: creativity. Research is also showing that entrepreneurs are increasingly identifying as neurodivergent.

Born from our collective vision that we can make professional spaces more friendly to neurospicy brains, Divergent Convergent is a community platform to empower neurodivergent potential.
